    I certainly didn't!

    Read here:

    https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/114003

    Parliament.UK is a bit of a giveaway!

I see, well it would have been good to actually include that link before , not just mention Trump who we all know is in the USA , confusing, I like most would not have known that and really have no interest in Donald Trump and in particular such a political issue

!!!!!! - it's all over the news on every terrestrial and satellite news station. First headline on each. Are you cut off by the floods perhaps?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Gone up by another 20,000 in the past 20 minutes.

Go back to the link and do a refresh a very couple of seconds. A rocket doesn't go up as quickly as this petition.

Simple answer is, know about Trump on the news but it has no interest to me, therefore take little notice and hence had no idea. I am sure that petition is relevant to those signing but seriously has nothing to do with the problems of PPC's.
In that respect, just like your thinking on the Beavis petition, despite the vast numbers, I really don't see anything will happen.
Anyway, we are here for those being robbed by the PPC's, thanks for pointing it out though

Even if the petition reaches the same level as Trump what do you think the Government will do?

The best we could hope for is real regulation, and a maximum level for charges. However as we are their Lordships have already decided £85 is a fair charge.

Unfortunately as far as scammers go PPC's are way down the league.

Although I have signed I don't expect much to come of it!

Success comes with a campaign and if that means telling people 100's of time, so be it.

This isn't a forum for advertising, it's a help forum. Repeatedly starting new threads saying the same thing is rude, annoying and against the house rules.

gosh , are there that many white English speaking Christians left in the UK?

I wasn't aware that only white, English-speaking Christians are allowed to sign it. Is there some way I can withdraw my signature?

It will not reach the dizzy heights of the Trump petition. The Trump petition will go on but the response from Osborne in the house pointed to "we will think about it ".

So, no doubt the parking petition will be seen and when it reaches 10,000 there will be a response. That we will wait for.
But it's not just the petition, we await what the government will do with their own consultation into the Parking Industry.

Wonga as example got wrapped and fined because the media exposed them, it is the job of the public to complain to all the avenues we have available to us.

The PayDay bunch had to clean up their act and as they are in the same league as PPC's, EXPOSURE is the way ahead.

It so sad that government are so slow to stop scammers

Beamish, dear fellow, may I call you that, whilst your crusading zeal is to be applauded. I fear that you are urinating windwardly here.

So much so that I am prepared to double my bet to £2.00, Bookmakers quake when TD makes a bet on a dead cert.

I think what puts people's backs up beamerguy is not just you ignoring the forum rules, but your patronising preachiness. You show up here just a few months ago and start talking down to everyone as though you are the only person who's ever tried to do anything about this scam.

If only you could see my fat file of hundreds of letters written to ministers, my MP, DVLA, the ICO and various companies over a number of years you might understand that I really don't need your help in campaigning against this scam or any other.
