Another nsd here. Easily done when you live in the woods there's a slow and steady drizzle!
We've fed the birds at the front, played in the back, and are now 'cooking' with the new toy kitchen from Father Christmas whilst nursing a pot of tea ( a real one)
Next? We plan to watch a Christmas film we didn't get around to that's recorded, so just a lazy family day, but pure bliss when 'back-to-work' is looming.
Hubby's off tomorrow to share the weekend too. Woop woop! Roll on 2pm when he should be home. :T0 -
Bough salad for tonight's fajitas and the weeks sarnies and a kilo of coffee beans (my luxury, lasts a month) - spent £8Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

I would like to rejoin for 2016 if that's ok?
Please can you put me down for £1500 for the year.
Baby number 2 is due in May so we are currently saving for mat leave so I can take a year off

Managed a rather effortless NSD yesterday largely because we didn't get dressed (oh the shame!). I woke up this morning all guns blazing and checked the fridge and cupboards for food to use up. My DH has done a valiant job of pretty much eating us out of house and home over Christmas so we're not overflowing with leftovers this year. We used up the remainder of the frozen party food for tea last night (not pleasant) and that's us pretty much done for Christmas stuff.
I've now compiled a two week meal plan around our existing freezer and storecupcoard supplies and just returned from Aldi where I've topped up with a £34 spend. Hoping this will last two weeks with a £10 fruit top up at some point.
My spending downfall is pretty much always the quick trips to Co-op (just for milk) and somehow coming out £25 lighter with a set of random items, none of which make an actual meal! I've planned ahead and bought 12 ltrs of milk at Aldi so that should knock Co-op randoms on the head for the forseeable future..Ha!
So Grocery Spend so far £34/£200January Grocery Challenge £34/£200
