Just had a thought that in fact your acknowledgement was in time, because CEL didn't have any PoC in the claim form and stated they would send that after 14 days, didn't they?

You only have to acknowledge within 14 days of receiving the PoC, I believe, and it seems you will have met that timeline counting from whatever date was on that early February letter you have temporarily lost.

    We'll see.

I'm a lady - hence I am SchoolRunMum on pepipoo forum but you wouldn't know that! People here do sometimes say 'thanks mate' and I'm happy with that!

Gender is irrelevant N4D5; you won't find better advice than CM's - anywhere - including anything from high-priced lawyers!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

    Morning,

    Hope your all well.

Jus thought id give you an update on this.

I have received a letter from the court, see below.

Looks like with you help we managed to get the defence in on time, even though technically was over.

I'm hoping its now put to bed and this is the last I hear from civil enforcement.

What normally happens after this stage. Should I be expecting a further letter from CE or should I expect a court letter.

    Thanks as always.

too early for that, be weeks or months yet

the above was the opening salvo in a very long battle

if you have a problem of your own, please start a new thread using the RED new thread button , top left of the forum, also reading post #1 of the NEWBIES sticky thread and also using the forum search box with the following search words

    CEL COURT

    SCHWARTZ

and read the earlier posts in this thread too, as most or all the advice is probably relevant

Months ahead! There are several threads like this and none have gone to a hearing (I suspect CEL will drop out or not turn up but we'll see).
