Amazing total Lomcevak! Well done you!!! That's an amazing feat... !
I'm waiting to see what my mortgage is after this month's payment registers tomorrow. I think it will be about a £47k reduction. Id love to beat that on the next challenge!

Final update from me: started on £134,986, and end on ... a green £59,907
So over £78k paid off over the three years, and I just squeaked past my target of £60k by a whole £93!
But when I set it at the start of MFiT-T4 I thought that £60k was pretty much impossible to hit, and would have been pleased to get under £70k, so very happy
Yes indeed, another amazing achievementSave £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

I'll finish transferring over the Q&A post when I don't want to throw my laptop at a solid wall. Let me know if anything doesn't work as its not been a straight forward exercise due to technology. :wherestherollingeyessmileywhenyouneedit:
I can't quite believe we are nearly at the end of T4, where has the 3 years gone and what a path they have taken!- Mortgage: 1st one down, 2nd also busted
- Student Loan gone
Swagbucks, Mingle, GiffGaff, Prolific, Qmee & Quidco; thank you MSE every little bit helps0 -
#59 checking in for the final time - now that my Jan payment has finally registered!
My target was to o reduce my mortgage from £234,787 to £195,000.
Today my balance stands at £189,188.56 :j:j
I am SO pleased with this. I smashed tagrgt and not only got into the 190s but the 189s. Plus even with my interest this month I will still be in the 189s. Such a good feeling.
Bring on the next challenge. Im secretly hoping to finish the mortgage during my 5 year fix (stared Dec 18). It will be hard but perhaps doable.... who knows!
Have a great day all

Final update from #21 complete. Didn’t make target due to having to spend money on renovations instead this year. Frustrating but very necessary, roll on the next challenge0

Hi,
Submitted my final update for this challenge.
Moved £ around to make it a nice even £161,000 which is a heck of a lot lower than I was expecting when I first set the £175k target 3 years ago.
In that time we’ve had another child, I gave up work, we relocated, moved house and renovated the new house.
Unbelievable levels of mortgage motivation from being part of this challenge through all these changes.
New target set for the next challenge.
We’ve been ambitious with MFiT5 so look forward to OPing with those of you continuing for the next three years.
Thankyou Trix and thanks also to you fellow OPers

Final update made for this challenge. We didn't quite meet the target only a mere £7769.65 short lol. I will be joining MFIT T5 but hoping to be MF by the end of the year. Mortgage now stands at £11,769.65 but we will have to keep something on the mortgage as we can't fully clear until March 2022 without incurring a £3800 penalty charge eeeeek!!!!! We are planning on getting it down to £1 and will declare ourselves as mortgage free when we reach this. So target will be £11,768.65Mortgage free 25/9/2019 8years and 7 months early 😁😁😁0

I will be rolling in £1003 short! I am so pleased with this! We managed to remortgage at what I wanted as house was valued at £15k more, so that was good!

Well done everyone:T - just about to send in my last update.
Target was to get from £116,871 to £65,000 (mortgage neutral rather than pay it off)
Please to say we are at £63,271.48 :T:T
Ready for the next onslaught of being completely mortgage neutral. It'll be a tall order as we're also doing some big jobs in the house too!Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0
