Probably not, it's likely it was a franchise store.

Many of them are franchise; some are owned by the person who owns the franchise for an area.

OP - where was the store in question? (I know the franchise owner who covers basically Hull to the border of England and Scotland - i.e. "northern" England, East and West, as I recall).

The manager is ruining his own business.

A good manager would APOLOGISE to the customer and offer to make another sandwich.

As the OP clearly stated he eats the same filling each time, then I am sure they would not complain for no reason!

I'm sure a good manager would apologise(no idea why you needed to shout that) makes you wonder why this one didn't? If he is such a bad manager and he's selling 'bad' food then I'm sure he will go out of business soon enough. Maybe the OP was rude and it got the managers back up, who knows?

The OP would know and it's not your place to make that assumption.

Except York, as I know the owner of the three York ones...

Not at all, I make decisions based on information given, I would never decide that someone was rude without some evidence.

Plenty of rude people on here though.

You mean you don't like their opinions therefore you've decided that makes them rude.

What assumption? It's also not your place to keep telling others what they can and can't post, or apologising to OPs for others whose posts you don't agree with.

If you don't like what's being said either keep it shut or report anything inappropriate. I'm sure things will tick over just fine without you trying to police it in your self appointed moderator role. Thank you.

If this is what you think, why don't you follow this advice yourself?
