Subway

I took a subway sandwich back and told the manager the filling tasted bad, and I couldn't eat it, the same filling I have had every time I eat in Subway. The manager was not interested in my complaint, and so I left and later contacted customer services.
The manager now says I can have a refund, but I have to come to his store and collect it, however I was just passing on a trip, and don't live anywhere near there.
Do I have the consumer right to have the refund or voucher posted to me ?

Probably not, it's likely it was a franchise store.0 -
Chalk it down to experiance, I'm sure they can give you a voucher for goodwill...0

Contact customer service again and see what they say.
Personally I would have worked harder to get a refund at the time of sale. If the manager wasn't interested I would have shown the dodgy sandwich to other customers when they went to make a purchase.0 -

Why the op said it tasted bad not looked bad. As soon as they go to the counter anyway they can see the exact same products used to make the filling and the containers they're kept in.
OK, explain to other customers that the sandwich had a nasty taste and the manager didn't care.0 -

Yes because that's very mature!!!!!
Try and ruin someone's business without proving it was 'bad'.
The manager is ruining his own business.
A good manager would APOLOGISE to the customer and offer to make another sandwich.
As the OP clearly stated he eats the same filling each time, then I am sure they would not complain for no reason!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -

If the customer thought there was something wrong with the food the manager should have sorted the problem instantly.
So why not let other customers know about the bad food and service.0
