What type of jobs would not require an interview or pay much attention to a CV?

When i went to be a Rep selling double glazing i don't think i had sort of interview. We were only getting paid commission so i suppose they'd let anyone soft enough to work for nothing have a go.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

Where? No i wouldn't have ignored it. I just most likely had a lot of responses to answer to. How can i believe it's legit?
If someone gives you a lead then you can use the wondrous internet to verify its legitimacy. Plus I doubt torbrex is in the habit of giving people false information, what would they have to gain from it?0 -

Company is called OCS, they do all sorts of things and the workforce are on zero hours contracts.
I work in the Stocktaking side of it, I get an email every week listing upcoming jobs (month ahead) and I put my name forward for the ones that I want.
If you live in an area with a bus team operating there are even more opportunities available.

You've been asking the same questions for months. You could have had several months voluntary experience by now. No one can help you if you won't help yourself.
I understand that. but i was desperate for a job and wasn't thinking about volunteer work. I realise i was probably stupid for dismissing it of course, but paid work is what i need/needed and my mindset was negative so i just wanting money and working for free seemed a waste. I was hoping i would get a job before now, but nothing is coming my way and it's annoying. What kind of volunteer experience should i be looking for though?0 -

You did say you had applied for voluntary work in a shop. Is this not true?0 -

I understand that, but i don't know him/her from adam so i have no idea if it's a legit job offer. You know the person more than i do.0 -

I sent the application yes, but then i decided i wanted a job and thought volunteering was a waste because i wanted paid work. I know, stupid because i could have done volunteering but i wanted paid work and hoped for a job or at least some interviews.0 -

You really need to stop making excuses for everything.
torbrex has given you information about a job. Why not get on and apply?0 -
What interests you, and what do you think you'd be good at ?
If you want to get into retail, try a charity shop. If you want to get into care, try looking for opportunities to support people. Is there a volunteer bureau in your neck of the woods?
As an example, when I was made redundant I decided I needed a change. I applied for relevant voluntary work. I got a job interview while completing the voluntary work training. Having signed up for relevant experience proved to the employer I was serious about the career change. I got the job before I had the chance to start the voluntary role. It shows willing. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
