This is just standard vodafone. It will always be sorted within 24 hours or the next 24 hours and it never ends. You're wasting your time. All you can do is leave. Just look at the hundreds of comments on their facebook page with people just being told to contact live chat and never getting their issues sorted.

I've moved to three from vodafone and had a network issue and they immediately had their network team look into it, gave me a reference number and gave me updates every week. A breath of fresh air compared to vodafone who just lie and fob you off as you now know. I was in the same vicious cycle you were and had no choice but to leave as they obviously won't ever change. Can't believe I was with them for six years!
  • Been with them for 4 years on contract, before that T-Mobile PAYG

I have tried to contact the Web Relations Team and got no reply.

I have today contacted Vodafone once again, and yup... you guessed it, got no where but even more frustrated.

3 or 4 weeks ago, the Vodafone "customer services tech team" stated that they would escalate my issue to the "Networking Team" and that they would call me within 48 hours. 4 weeks have gone by and was told that for the 4th time today. And once again, I am still waiting. How much worse can this whole thing get for either myself or Vodafone?

Well. I have now involved the Telecommunications Ombudsman to hopefully see that what has been going on is "unacceptable".

I have a Vodafone transmitter 2.58km (1.603138miles) from my home address, this distance is measured in a straight line with Google Maps from my building, to the transmitters location on Dereham Road at the junction of Norwich Road and the Cherry Tree Pub. I fail to see how a mobile phone signal can degrade this much to nothing over such a short distance and wonder if anyone has any suggestions on my next steps.

I have done all I can on my end to resolve this problem, and I have got nowhere but extremely frustrated and annoyed, and the "agents" have been cool as cucumber knowing how annoyed I am getting.

    Thanks in advance.

I wholly agree with OP and mobilejunkie that ,regardless of being polite or irate, vodafone CS is a nightmare.

I've recently been taken for a ride by them as I can't download my bill (ie the PDF format)dated 1st Dec(to send for my cashback from CPW). So many calls and web chats with no joy. They never made the promised call back or emailed me the bill.

The webchat guy said"the bill dated 1st Dec will be only ready to be downloaded on Jan 1st!!!!" What a tosh..

I'm just waiting till Jan 1st "patiently"....Don't know what I should do if it's still not downloadable.
  • I haven't been able to log on for 3 weeks or more, that alone view or download my bills.

    Don't wait:-

    1) Follow the instructions to contact the Web Relations Team (see Vodafone complaints thread starting backwards if it isn't on this thread).

    2) Meanwhile call them and insist they post you a FREE paper bill immediately.
  • Still only one bar if I am lucky...

Do you have Broadband? If you do, contact them again and ask for a free Sure Signal. This is like a mobile phone transmiter which connects to the network using your broadband. I know it's not ideal but at least you would have coverage.
