It doesn't however say smkt only, which many do here (don't live in Grantham) when the lane is only for a supermarket, retail park etc, just as you get for example a lane saying meadowhall (well not the whole word!) yet they aren't exclusively for meadowhall. So why is there not a specification, as that would actually make sense from a roadusers point of view.
The left lane is marked with a left arrow which is labelled with the letters "SMKT", at about 50 yds and again at about 20 yds; that is a clear instruction that the left lane is for turning left into the supermarket.

It's a left turn lane, plainly marked.

If I was in any doubt, I would take the right lane and go all the way around. Does appear that the left lane is supermarket only but the pictures aren't clear and I wouldn't take any chances based on the info given.

There are four exits and we can almost treat this as a slightly twisted standard 4 way roundabout, with specialist markings.
Yep, the left lane looks to be for supermarket traffic only (despite lack of the work 'only' on the tarmac), so the left lane is for the supermarket. For the top 2 A52 exits, once you've see the left lane markings, you would be in the right lane, which then splits again into a 'straight on' and a right, which should be self explanatory.
It's slightly non standard, but certainly not uncommon these days - usually presented with 2 lanes going up to a roundabout you'd be in the left lane for the 1st 2 exits, left and straight on. Changing this to left only for the left lane, spits out the straight on people over to the right. This will help with traffic flow when there's a big queue for the supermarket.

Do you have something to confess to OP?!
