Get yourself a decent solicitor, who will act in your interests.

Best to try to be fair cause i think she entitled to half of everything ,anyway why divide it by 100.00. ?

Previous thread shows they've been cohabiting but not married. Means she's not entitled to 50% like she would as his wife.

OP just has to decide on what he thinks is morally fair, as there's not the same legal obligation.

The savings, pensions, etc of both partners have to be taken into account.
She has a small company pension which would be worth about £60 a month if cashed in
Best not to become too bitter :D

    Correct

And would rather do it without solicitor if possibile as they have your eyes out.

If you gave up half your assets, surely she should do the same for you? I don't really see what you owe her aside from half of your joint assets.

Harsh perhaps, but the risk anyone takes by not legalising a l/t relationship.

Marriage is just a contract. You and she never entered into any such contract. The term "common law spouse" has no legal standing in England or Wales, nor in Scotland (she was what we call in Scotland your bidey-in), nor in Northern Ireland.

I see the social acceptability of live-in relationships without legal basis far from liberating. There is nothing feminist about being milked for free.
