i think there's a bit of over-reacting here "i'm crying", "I feel sick", "my mum's upset". Get over it, it was just a competition, you entered late, they later noticed once they checked the auto generated winning entry.

Well bunny when people struggle hard with money then win something big It's exciting to then be told you haven't is upsetting... So yes I did feel sick
..and sadly it's been a tough year for the family 3months ago my Friend lost her son to illness so raising money for her family was needed.it hit my mum hard... So I'm sorry if your offended by my reaction but it was a big win and I was excited for her as a treat

That's awful. I think they should have honoured the prize out of goodwill, it'll take more admin time to pick another winner. Sorry to hear that.

'over reaction' I think the poster has come here for a bit of support/comfort not judgement. It could happen to any of us especially with all Advents. A bit of compassion doesn't go astray!

Agree with jamielmdjs - I reckon lots of people have contacted Goldsmiths saying you weren't a legitimate winner in accordance with their T&Cs. I bet they were just going to sweep it under the carpet.

I'm sure lots of us on here will remember Boots' co**-up with a comp they ran where they emailed just about everyone who entered telling us all telling us we'd won a weekend in Barcelona. We were all gutted when we found out! I seem to recall they sent us all £20 in Boots points.

It is gutting. I really hope karma/the comping fairy looks down favourably on you.

I have messaged them how upset I am and how they shouldn't have done this to me after them announcing it publicly for my family to see , I've just said how gutted I am.... They read it but no reply yet I only entered hours later it wasn't days it's Crazy.... I hope something comes from it
