I know I lost More4 some time after 10.30 last night (I have hours of black screen where Studio 60 ought to have been recorded) and nothing at all this morning. My neighbours don't have digital anything. My freeview box is about 6 months old - the previous box, also a Philips, suffered sudden death.
I'm in the East Midlands, on the Belmont transmitter. Thanks.

Depends if your in a digital area. Some areas in the east midlands dont get a full signal. weather conditions to could also be at fault. Mine drops out about once a week but it always returns.Don't listen to the bad things about Vista its the best
Just because it's free don't mean it's good
Ditch Norton Now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :wall:
Just Because you read it some where don't mean it's right0 -
I get a constantly reliable digital service, so I guess it's the box.0

I am on the Stockland Hill transmitter for my digital and I have a Phillips freeview box and I lost ITV3 for a while as I had a black blank screen so what I did last night,I reinstalled the box again as I now have Channel4 +1 and my ITV3 channel came back with a picture

warm days = lost channels
often lose ALL mine when it's been hot due to atmospherics, bodes well for fully digital signals
then again they often do work on the transmitters overniight and the signal strength gets reduced or turned off completelyEx forum ambassador

Are you looking on channel 14? Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

Thank you both - my thanks button won't work either this morning.
I was hoping for a nice simple transmission problem, as my back has gone again and I can't reach either the box or its neatly hidden socket, so I'll have to wait for the return of DH. Bother.0 -
Since last week I have lost ITV2 in freeview. A bit of a pain as I like to watch the X factor. I have got a philips digi box. Is there anything I could do to get it back. Thanks.0

The channels have moved around so you need to rescan to get them all again. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

itv2 seemed to have moved to channel 801 on my set but I have re-tuned it and all is back to normal.0

I simply have black screen when I switch to digital, and can't get any channel anywhere, so the re-setting of channels may have upset the box. Do you think hitting it with a hammer would work? I am particularly cross to have missed both showings of what seems to have been a really great episode of Studio60.0
