I agree about the first picture being the front one - just bugs me when I am scrolling through lists of places to look at. And it's taken at a weird angle which I'm not keen on!

Also about the rear access not being secure and no floor plan. That's a biggie for me. And yes the size of the first bed looks quite small so with no size of the 2nd bedroom I would expect it to be even smaller which would put me off.

But it is a lovely house!

Oh and I meant to ask if you are getting the Rightmove stats from your estate agents which should show the number of times your property has been viewed in lists and individually which might give you a clue if you are not getting the Rightmove views or if you are getting Rightmove views but just no-one taking it further.
  • Azure, the property seems to be getting the views online but nothing comes of it
  • Depends what you call busy, we have a dog and two toddlers and never have an issue with it. It's not overly busy but is a main road. Truck shakingly ? Probably not but thanks for your feedback :-)

Stumpy, that link to No10 takes you to a 404 page on MSE.
Fixed in my post above, MSE/Rightmove seems to be behaving oddly with links at the moment. New Link

Certainly doesn't look like a shell in the archived listing above!

Come on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.

It isn't my idea of a shell. In July 2014 it was "Well maintained and presented" - the pictures would seem to bear that out.
Original asking price was £99950 and they sold for £93000.

    Thanks.

I agree it doesn't look like a shell. It looks like they've still got the original Victorian fireplaces and floor tiles. That would be a big plus point for me.

How long are you tied in with your current agents? Your house is well presented but the agents seem a bit rubbish - no floorplan, missing a room off the description, mediocre descriptions generally, photos which are in an odd order and not particularly well done...

If they are that sloppy about their listings I'd be wondering whether they are equally poor when it comes to arranging viewings.

I agree with those saying your first picture should be the front of the house. I also think that a photo of the back garden taken from the bedroom might be useful, to give a better idea of its size etc. The photos make it look as though there is no hedge or fence between you and your neighbours, photo 11 looks as though there is a shed of some kind but it isn't mentioned in the listing. Is it yours?

I also agree with having the gate shut, and giving information about how many vehicles you can park.

To me, your conservatory looks a bit bleak -myfirst impression was that it looked really cold, and unused. Which then made me wonder where you eat, as there doesn't appear to be space to eat in the kitchen. You probably won't want to pay for new ceiling blinds at this point, but maybe dressing the table with a nice warm red table runner and place settings, and maybe some bright, warm cushions on the sofa might help.

    But probably, it's mostly price.

    And me :)
According to the link I posted yes to both :)

    "Original cast iron fireplaces"
    "Victorian tiled floor"
