Three's 3-2-1 PAYG SIM lasts as long as your credit does! It's great value too.

In fact, most (all?) don't. It's up to you whether to buy monthly bundle(s) and whether to do this automatically. If you don't buy them the credit lasts forever providing that you meet minimum activity requirements.
As above, Three is the cheapest provider for pure PAYG without bundles. Another provider with the same low prices is Delight Mobile that uses EE network.0 -

I just got a new phone & switched from EE to Three PAYG, very happy with them & the prices. My first tenner is lasting ages. When you top up with £10 you get 150mb of free data.Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it.0 -
Remember that you need a 3G handset to use Three network. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

A wee tip with 3, you can top up £5 (directly with 3 only) and this will also get the free data bonus.SevenOfNine wrote: »I just got a new phone & switched from EE to Three PAYG, very happy with them & the prices. You could give them ago £5 free every month and you don't need to top-up unless you run out of credit.Nobody is Perfect. I am Nobody, therefore I am Perfect.0 -
I have an o2 pay as you go sim in a phone for Mum for emergencies. It was for £10 and providing the phone dials out and receives a call monthly the credit remains.
There is still £8 something still on there after two years.
The way to keep it activated is for Mum to call her landline once every month but not answer itand family call her on the mobile every so often. Occasionally we text now she knows how they work.

It has to be a chargeable call, so calling in won't keep the number active-not would an unanswered call, unless it went to voicemail. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

Also, it has to be "at least once in any 6 month period ", not "every month".0
