Need advice: Being refunded in error

Hi I bought an electrical appliance from a major retailer here. After a month plus, I was refunded in error, with the goods still with me. The retailer is now chasing me to be rebilled.
Ethically, I need to pay them again, but it is annoying that they just brush off their mistakes. I never asked them to refund me, and yet they did it!
They said there are only three options
1. Bill me manually
2. take back the item
3. Legal action against me
What is my legal right? I feel like taking legal action against them as they paid me unsolicited money without my consent
Please advise? Thanks

They are correct.
They made an error. Did you tell them when you were refunded? No you hoped they would not notice.
If you had contacted them to tell them of their error they may have left if at that or given some discont as a show of good will.
Yout legal right is to opt for one of their 3 options.
Good luck.0 -

They have the legal right to be repaid. You have no legal rights.
If the position was reversed and you had mistakenly paid twice then you would be grateful that the legal position is as it is.0 -

Do you want the item? If you do, pay for it.
If you don't, tell them they can arrange a time to come and collect the item?
Or do nothing and let them take legal action against you.
Just how much of an inconvenience has this been to you?
Have you never heard of mistakes?
I doubt you'd get very far with taking legal action against them but if you decide to do that, please come back and let us know how it goes.0 -
Ethically, it is only right to pay for the product we buy, but repeat paying has caused inconvenience for me. Aren't you worried anybody just pays unsolicited money into your account? We live in a dangerous world...sadly...0

Ethically you owe the money to the Company no if's, but's or maybe's about it, If you choose to try and avoid paying this back then be prepared for legal action which of course will be more than reasonable given the circumstances whereby you are attempting to de-fraud them.0 -
Some people are really really screwy.
Sue them for giving you money? Seriously??0
