Well, walked to the carboot this morning through a hell of a storm (gale-force winds and heavy rain) and paid my £23
Came back with £31 profit but still have a TON of stuff unsold.
Never doing that again. Walking all your stuff 2 miles to a carboot through a storm 0/10 would not recommend.

But speaking of... the £10 high street voucher arrived in the post from E-On today (claimed for last month) so I can finally get hair dye and sort my roots out :rotfl:
I do postal surveys and they only pay in Love2Shop vouchers but they are usable at various places (including Boots and Superdrug) and are even really useful to me who has access to few shops;). I tend to use mine at Wilknson's (Wilko) although you may not have them in Scotland. I use mine for hair dye (always reasonably priced there:)), toiletries and laundry/cleaning materials (saves money from my grocery budget)0 -

Don't recall seeing a Wilkos since I moved here. Certainly not one anywhere near me.
The only thing I ever buy on the high street is hair dye from Superdrug - and that's only like 3x a year. Everything else I get online as it's cheaper.Aqua 0/1850 Cap.One 0/450 Vanquis 0/500 HSBC 0/100

Well done, I really admire you for making such an effort to get there in such appalling weather:A. It's been bad here but nothing like the battering Scotland is getting according to TV news.
My sale was better than I expected (although I wasn't expecting much), and I think the wind blew more buyers in just to get warm;). I had loads left at the end too, that's always the way though as I think most sellers take too much stuff 'just in case'. Did sell some big coffee-table books which I'm really pleased to see the back of seeing as they are pretty worthless on Amazon because of the postage. The buyers were such skinflints today though, wanting stuff for nothing:eek:
Still haven't counted my money, it's locked in the car. Raining really hard when I got home I just dashed for the house door desperate for the loo and a cup of tea:rotfl:. Back later.0 -
