Wait no it's actually £23

    £20 for a space, £1.50 for a table, and £1.50 for a clothing rail: http://www.polmadiecarbootsale.co.uk/

Unsure if the £3 table/rail rental gets returned or not.

Wednesday's cheaper but not as many people.

Thanks! I can see why it's more expensive than the village-hall type of places I associate with table top sales:rotfl:. Yours is a genuine car boot sale but indoors, I'd expect to pay more for that. Mine will have a maximum of around 25 tables(the loan of which is included in the £5 fee but you have to take your own clothes rail if wanted). I wish we had something under cover like that round here:(

Even so, outdoor pitches at 'real' car boot sales are still only £6 absolute maximum round here:j, some of the sites being very well established with several hundred pitches every Sunday and fields of car-parking spaces for buyers. The very biggest ones are about 16 miles away but I still consider them 'local' to me, living out in the sticks like we do.
  • Been awol after a migraine on Wednesday and just had to make a coffee while I played catch up with all the posts on here :) Everybody is getting on so well it made me feel so much better after the last couple of days :D

Another £20 to the total from using up cashback vouchers in boots also I noticed that they had an app, loaded it onto my phone and got a voucher added to my boots card for an extra 400 points if I spent £20. So thats another £4 in rewards to spend :T
    £10 a day Dec total = £203.17/310
    £10 a day Nov total = £150

Grand total ready for our little adventure £353.17 :T

Just used the amazon gift card checker as advertised on MSE and I was eligible for £7 voucher code when I spent £30 or more on gift cards. I wanted some stuff so have ordered a £30 gift card which I will use to pay for my things and then get the £7 free! Won't add till I get the code though ;)

    CP xx
Fed up now - I don't qualify for the £7 again so that's two in a row :(

We don't have village-hall or church or school fêtes around here at all, being that I live in the city centre. I spent ages looking for them but no joy.

Possibly towards the outskirts/suburban areas 6-10 miles away but not practical without a car. Luckily Polmadie is only a 2 mile walk for me (which I'm still not *super* psyched about that early in the morning with a bunch of stuff...)

I *do* have my own clothing rail but couldn't possibly bring it along with me. I only have a limited number of hands.

I guess if anyone needs me they now know exactly where to find me tomorrow morning :rotfl:

I just hope I can at least make pitch. I've got a couple hundred vinyls, some books and DVDs, old china, clothing, and my hand knit stuff

£1.20 on fleabay and £2 on discogs so I've made my tenner today now

  • Got £0.75 on ValuedOpinions. I'm so close to that Amazon voucher I can taste it.

I just bought £30 in Amazon cards today and have a free £12 on the way so you'd think I would exchange for something else but the rest of the options are... not good. Maybe a Love2Shop voucher? I never buy anything on the High Street. Kind of seems like a waste.

But speaking of... the £10 high street voucher arrived in the post from E-On today (claimed for last month) so I can finally get hair dye and sort my roots out :rotfl:
