  • I do not appear to be doing so well today because it is only my third day back in my day job and I have been sent home sick and this is after joking with sister last night about how much we would both like to a fake sick day today! :o

  • I have just had a phonecall from Capquest to my landline which is really worrying because I never gave this to them ever and it is an unlisted number. The agent was very rude and unpleasant and told me that their monthly payment that I am making is not high enough and he more or less demanded that I increase it.

It felt so good being able to respond by saying that I may actually be in a position to pay it all because for the first time ever I was treated by them in an almost pleasant manner. :D He told me that the lowest they would possibly accept is £5,000.00 and it would only be valid until 8.00 pm tonight. So I now need to go and call my sister to see if she is able to make a card payment on this one as well for me. I just hope that she says yes. :o

  • I have now officially cleared £13,412.85 from my current debt mountain and I am now just waiting on the letters to confirm it. :D Unfortunately I still have a very long way to go and I know that the rest of the way will not be nearly this easy but I am feeling very positive about it anyway. :o

How much a month does that free up in monthly payments?

If you dont mind me asking, how much did it cost you in full and finals to clear that?

    Glad you're feeling positive ;)

I know this will sound awful but I have not actually sat down and worked the figures out yet because when I have actually managed not to feel so ill today I have just been feeling totally elated but I know I am going to have to be disciplined and do the working out. :o

It has really paid off for me thank you for suggesting it to me because I would never have known that I could do that otherwise. :D Each company has said that the accounts will only be marked as partially settled but that I will not be pursued for any of the remaining amounts so I am more than happy with that.
