It really is not as daunting as it looks when you first get started and I was lucky because I had my sister on hand to help me but you do get asked some of strangest questions about the things that you are selling.

You might think that just now but too much contact with someone who is at times anoyingly perfect and brilliant at everything she does without even trying to be can at times cause a huge inferiority complex or at least it does for me anyway.

I have worked out my budget excluding my income from my extra pub job because a few people have advised me to do this but the revised monthly payment totals oln a total of £24,791.73 are as follows

A&L - £384.48
Goldfish - £133.50
Debenhams - £16.02

This works out as being just under 47 months away but I will be saving as much of my pay from the pub as possible so that I can maybe make more full and final settlement offers in the future.

Hun thats great.

So just under 4 years! My first debt free date was October 2010 which was 60 months from my lighbulb moment. At the current rate it's December 2008 which is 22 months less but I'm hoping the middle of next year.

It's amazing how it comes down.

Thank you for that because I really need all the support that I can find right now without actually admitting my guilty secret to my friends and family.
I really want to fix this mess out on my own for once without having other people deal with it for me. I was feeling so down about it all last week that I nearly asked my sister to pay it all off for me which she would have done without question but for the first time ever I actually did not take advantage.

How do you cope with it because I find it really stressful. I think that everybody must somehow know about it and be able to see through me and my deceit like I have a tattoo on my forehead telling them or something like that.

I just do hun. It's just one of those things. You deal with it or you crumble. I have a driving passion inside me (wahay ) which makes me want to be debt free. That is enough to keep me going!

You'll be surprised how many other people are in debt but don't admit it either.


And if it's any consolation, I think my parents think I've got a gambling addiction! :rotfl:
