I suppose never really but I will be 25 this year which is like quarter of a century old and I am starting to have sneaky suspicions that I am maybe getting too old for these types of things no matter what my sister tells me. :o

Right, well I am a fair few years older than you, and I am most definitely NOT too old to have a birthday cake :bdaycake:
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

    Hi Ciara,

Lovely news about your student loan, let them help you out because it is obvious that they love you very much and they want to help you. Anyway you won't be much help to them when the baby arrives if you are working all the hours!!!!

You can't leave here though so once your celebration is over you will have to get your thinking cap on and post your saving plans on here for once the student loan is gone.

    Tara x

  • Me too- i got asked for id when i was pushing kids round in pram! Got away with half fares on a bus until i was 22. Was a mature student and one girl bless her, thought i was the same age as her sister 23- i was nearly 30 when i finished. I have always had a round face and never looked my age-catching up a bit now though. I must be getting older, as when i was in reception class they asked me if i had seen real dinosaurs!

Hi Ciara, I've been over on the comps board for a while :D so only just caught up with your thread. Many congratulations on your debt-busting and delighted to hear that the new BF is working out well!
You've had wonderful help from your sister - the best sort of help is to help people to help themselves. Long may it continue!
