Ill find the web link for you, and you can do it online- its free. I dont read much into it - just a learning curve, i started doing it as part of my masters course, and i just become too engrossed.

That sounds really interesting and I would appreciate it but I am still scared about what it might reveal to me about myself. :rotfl:

  • My actual degree is in English Lit and language with QTS, but i wanted to take the D&T as well, as i was keen they let me. My masters is in "How learners learn," and will ultimately be in education after i finish the modules. I was thinking of transferring over to educational psychology, though.

Mine is English Lit and Politics but if I am totally honest I only did that because it was what my sister had done and I knew that she would help me if I was struggling because I knew that I probably had very little chance of actually passing anything on my own merits. :o How much thought have you put into transferring to educational psychology?

Ooer, i would need help with the politics, but mainly because i would get on my soap box and debate with spotty youths for fun and then get thrown out:rotfl: I keep looking on course available and would have to commit financially, so not much of an option at moment. My master's is paid for until final dissertation so thats ok. I would then probably have enough points or whatever criteria they use to do a shortened version, but looking at the wbsite they have changed rules on stuff and it gets harder to get on- even though there is a shortage:confused:

i spent my time playing knock & run

Haha, that bought back some memories, havn't heard of kids doing that for a long time, at 25 i should probably know better, but its still pretty funny. :rotfl:

And this thread is great, well done on the debt you have cleared so far, i remember having just a few thousand in debt when i was about 18 and it made me feel sick. Thats going to be quite a feeling of exstacy when the last payment is made.

There seems to be a shortage of psychologists in every field at the moment because my sister has mentioned that there is a shortage of forensic ones as well so you would think that they would desperate to train some more?

I think that I am probably the only person in the country who never played that game as a child and it looks like I have truly missed out. :o :rotfl: I just cannot wait to I have made my last payment except that that will mean that it is time to start on the student loans.

  • true, i would love to be a forensic one as well. When i did my A levels the lecturer we had in human biology worked in the forensic labs locally, absolutely fascinating the evidence that is left behind. he worked on the yorkshire ripper case, and was interested in the holocaust. He collected pictures of tattoos and how they were used in those camps. It was quite distressing the de humanising aspect of it all. The one thing which sticks in my mind was some beautiful pictures of lampshades he had, made with some intricate patterns. he asked us to debate about them, and finally told us that they were made out of tanned human skin and the patterns were tattoos. Absolutely amazing how humans can do that to each other- sorry if topic a bit off, but psychology of it all fascinates me.
