Sadly no, I hadn't tried it before the webinar so I went in "cold" and didn't know to ask the question. I did ask a question about where savings go, to which the answer was "let them build up". It made sense at the time but I think the interrelationship between accounts and budgets isn't as simple as YNAB makes it look.
I'm not sure what you mean by "manual adjustment" but I guess so:
1. Create your savings accounts.
2. Create an item in your budget for each savings account - I did this in a new category.
3. "Budget" the amount you want to save into your savings account. To begin with, this is opening balance of each savings account. Ongoing, you can do it immediately before/after an actual payment into savings.
4. Make payment into savings account in real life.
5. Register the transfer between accounts in YNAB.
6. Mark the transaction in YNAB as though you'd paid a bill, i.e. an "activity".
I haven't tried this out a lot yet (as waiting 2 hours and 20 minutes to put money into savings!!) but I think with some fiddling around it could work. A pain though - very interested to hear the answer when you do the webinar tomorrow!0 -

I've tried to download YNAB4 but unfortunately I'm having the Windows 10 administrator account problem so can't download anything! I have tried everything I can find online but absolutely nothing will unlock the admin account. I also can't revert to WIndows 7 for various reasons. Boo.....0

I think Ive done mine all wrong, I've been a day too early in inputting my bills to come out so its taken the amount from my current balance in my current account and then the rest from savings. I'll wait until the webinar tomorrow before I press reset£20k in 2023 = £2718 £2023 in 2023 = £196.41 Grocery challenge £250= £195.80 **MONEY MAKES ME HAPPY**0

I'm kicking off with £250 moved from payday into my savings account, £25 I won on a slot machine game and £20 csa arrears that are whizzing their way into my bank account right now (had text from CSA this morning). Off to check down the back of the sofa for any long lost pennies

My income is wiped out by my expenditure on household stuff. I will therefore have to 'save' by adapting and making cutbacks as well as making money in other ways. eBay surveys cash back etc. Need some ideas as realise that this is not going to hit my rather modest but big for me target.
Anyone with ideas on how I should do it.
I am going to read through the old threads but that is a task in itselfSave 12k in 2016. Member #128 aiming for £2400. 0/24000
