This is quite obviously a hoax. Who could agree with the second sentence?
"Windows 10 has caused a lot of noise in the tech world. Many find its new graphical interface very pretty..."0 -
Like most things trying to be something they're not, that fails and is quite ugly as a result.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Ha ha -- I imagine the real reason to make a GNU/Linux OS look like Windows 10 is not because it's so "very pretty", but so that live hacking/privacy distros (such as TAILS) can be used in environments where seeing a non-Windows OS on screen might be suspicious.

To anyone who has the faintest clue, using a rather pathetic attempt at mimicking a MS OS looks more suss than anything else. :cool:Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

I think there are Linux themes resembling almost every version of Windows if you look hard enough. I use one that was written as a Vista knock-off - not because I was ever a great fan of Vista, just thought it looked OK.0

Well, that was vaguely amusing...0

I have quite a few friends and friends of friends who call me for support every time they have a computing problem. As nice as these people are some of them really shouldn't be allowed near a computer
Some of them have older machines that they expect to last forever and the rest have the latest machines even though they don't need them.
All of them do nothing other than really basic stuff, email, browsing, on-line shopping, Faceache etc. and storing pictures from their camera or phone.
Another common theme is their ability to render their own machines virtually unusable.
I have persuaded most of them to move to Linux and I've found that the best way is to use a distro that uses Windows camo so that they feel at home.
Support calls from these people have dropped to almost zero. One by one the penguins are slowly stealing my sanity.0
