    My Mk4 Mondeo estate has two lighter sockets - one in the dashboard and one in the rear luggage compartment. Just the place for keeping the champers chilled!

    Yes, what's this car, please, so that we can avoid buying it! Ciggie lighter sockets are still greatly in use, and provide far more power than even properly connected USB ports do. Are you meant to use a foot pump if you get a puncture? Does it come with a spare tyre?
