Why is it an advantage? If you don't have £500 saved then most likely you can afford neither a £500 phone nor an expensive contract with this phone.Topper1900 wrote: »...the latter has the advantage that you don't have to pay £500/600 in one payment.0

They do look good value, although the upgrade path to v10 looks a bit unclear for some models.I would buy a Windows Phone and have a holiday off the money saved Or pay debts off if you have any, which I dont = holiday Or pay debts off if you have any, which I dont = holiday
That said, three colleagues have been having MS style problems with their Samsung / Sony phones this week and it's a reminder just how good the 6s is. Given we've been working hard on a bid this week, they've all been having weird difficulties with phones that stop them working - intermittently locking up, reboot, don't let you hang up (randomly screen goes blank), or just don't work. I wasn't convinced by the build quality of the Xperia either, given one colleague was on his third (he showed me the last one which looked like it had exploded on impact...)
I think one's a convert - the other two will stay loyal. As a developer myself, interesting though it is, I haven't got the luxury of time to be re-compiling the OS - I just want to turn on my phone and use it. Ironically- the two Samsungites aren't technical at all, but are sold on the flexibility of the OS even though they don't use it - one even struggles to navigate the photo library...0

Having £500/600 saved and wanting to spend £500/600 in a lump sum on a phone are surely two different matters? Not everybody wants to spend their savings on a phone.0

Use savings and then build them up again.
And a person with the most expensive phone is supposed to have much more saved then mere £600. It has to be at least 6-months' income (or expenditure in the worst case scenario)0

            Outright any day.
I switched my OH's SIM only deal yesterday from £12 (unlimited everything) to £1.75 per month (after automatic cashback). The new deal is no longer unlimited but the limits are very good. 1000 minutes, unlimited texts and 3GB data.
 That's a great deal!
Which network was that with?Currently in a Protected Trust Deed - 17 payments until DEBT FREE - February 20270

 lol
Are the handsets generic or network OS ? My generic is flawless on 8 and a little flaky on the W10M insider - Edge sometimes crashes.
Xperia, found them to be crap marked up, the only models that have something are the waterproof models.
Samsung WP mobiles are solid, only marketed really hard in USA in the past.SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe 0 0
