A quick glance will tell you - in the showroom - whether a car has isofix or not.

They are not at all obvious in my car - you have to shove your fingers well into the tight space between the seat-back and the seat-cushion to find them.

Mercedes were one of the few manufacturers who didn't add isofix as standard until much later than most other manufacturers.
As late as 2008 Mercedes were not installing isofix as standard and it was a costed option.

On some cars its fitted but not obvious and one it was mentioned that you had to cut the seat.

The fact that the OP's post was a bit vague.

And he has disappeared says an awful lot on this Matter.

Hardly roof beyond reasonable doubt, Yer Honour.

It could just as well be that he post was "a bit vague" because that's what a LOT of people on t'internet do. They simply don't realise the level of detail that others on some forums expect them to go to, and try to keep things concise.

And the "disappearance" could just as easily been a case of post, see reaction within first few posts suggesting he's the Site Troll, go and find answers somewhere more helpful.

Not everyone who gets accused of trolling feels the need to "prove" themselves to self-appointed gate keepers / troll hunters - some just walk away.

So why are you quoting him as he said 2010?
