I expect a lot of providers may offer a decent rate.
Mainly because they think if they get the help to buy ISA funds they will get the eventual mortgage too - so its a loss leader with potential profits for 25 years.0 -

2% is better than I expected. I look forward to hearing what the other banks/BSs have to offer. Though, of course, it's not really the interest I'm interested(!) in, it's the bonus!0

Indeed, 2% is much better than thought.House Deposit: £28,000 and still saving!0

Deposits are so restricted that I'd hope for some decent launch rates. I was particularly pleased to see Newcastle sign up as they've offered competitive regular saver ISAs in the recent past.0

I was hoping Newcastle would be offering a decent competitive rate, as I'd rather use a Building society than most of the banks that are offering them.0

How come?Homeowner:j0 -
Er, I've had fallings out with some of the providers that are offering them, and I've had good customer service with Newcastle in the past, unlike some of the banks offering the Help to Buy ISA.0
