Am I correct in thinking that Setanta is an Irish company? Perhaps poor customer service is an Irish trait, as that well known low cost Irish Airline has cr*p customer service too!!!!0

hi people, have been reding this thread with interest as i signed up to setanta for the ricky hatton fight and they are now going to start to take £15pm from me. so yesterday i rang them expecting hassle but to be honest they were very good. yes i waited for a while on hold but when i got through the man on the other end just said that ny payment would come out on the 23rd of the month, but before i had a chance to say anything he asked if i wanted cancelations as he would put me through or i could have monthly fee reduced to 9.99 in line with new customers! :T hope this is a sign that they are getting their act together?0

I have to agree Sopcast it is not that quality image but for the first time in ages this poor man could watch live an entire Brasilian football match last night: Brasil X Colombia for the 2010 Qualifyings.
Just know I was watching some NBA and the good thing it is not only sports. I get to watch 24/7 the brazilian biggest tv station...the programmes are mainly piles of subcultured soap operas but for the time being that would do to give my homesickness some relief on a saturday night.0 -
Setanta now offering first 3 months for £5 per month: http://www.setanta.com/splash/GB/gb_splash_oldfirm_2.htm0

Yeah but dont even think about cancelling after that.. Once bitten twice shy.. I might as well go for free online watch or Digit Alb satellite services for live football..
Read this and you would stay from the GBP5 offer.

Nothing new to add here other than another appauling experience with Setanta that coat me £60 to see two (crap) prem games! They are the worst company I have ever dealt with (british gas a close second). After three months (and probably about £30 worth of phone calls) I did get a £30 refund, probably a good result compared to other's experiences!0
