I do a monthly meter reading with my current supplier and can get a monthly online statement. That should be standard.
For most people it is. I’ve been with Avro for about 20 months, and I’ve had an online statement from them every month, I even get an estimate if I don’t put the readings in on time.

Ive been in quite a bit of credit for most of that period and have twice had a refund by asking for it. The first one took quite a while, but the second one was quicker. I think their  customer service may be improving, but I haven’t had to use it a great deal.

I was with Avro for just 12 months. During that time I had one bill after sending an email request. As I had no idea of my current balance, I went to another supplier after the fixed deal expired. About 3 months with my new supplier I decided to request a closing statement from Avro only to discover I had over £200 due back to me in over payment. Whilst it was remiss of me not to chase this up earlier, I did assume (incorrectly) that they would automatically reimburse me if I was in credit.
This company has terrible customer communications. Regardless of how cheap a deal they quote, I would never go back.
To be fair, I've been with Avro for 6 months - had email reminders to send meter readings every month and statements have been produced every month ,showing my payments and  the credit balance has agreed with my spreadsheet within a few p.
I had an issue at the start because they had retrieved out of date leccy meter info. (God knows how?)  -took a few emails over 10 days or so to sort - but it did get sorted.
Just switching away - they sent the "sorry you are leaving us" email a few days ago ,and as far as I'm aware, the switches are due to complete Weds/Thurs coming - no sign of objections etc. Watch this space!!  :)

Second time with Avro, this time for over a year now.
I put my readings in when the email tells me and I get a bill about a week later.
    Can`t fault them.
Also, I have switch tariffs with them three times in the last year without any penalties (even fixed rate tariffs)
and that is done instantly online through "my account".
    Great company, would recommend.

Ditto;...I’m in my second stint with Avro,...didn’t have any major problems first time round (although communication was a bit crap back then tbh) and had no problems since my present tenure started last July.

They do appear to have got their act together in recent times and everything seems to function really well. Enter monthly readings online,...keep an eye on your balance and all will be well,...in theory anyway!

My son and my daughter are also with Avro (Simple&Superfixed) and they’ve had no issues either.

I like the fact that they allow you to flip to a new tariff instantly and online;...I went from Simple&Supersave to Simple&Superflow to Simple&Superfixed within about 2 weeks or so,...successively cheaper tariffs all switched instantly online without penalty.

However, if I do have a criticism it’s that they don’t tell existing customers that a new ‘cheaper’ tariff has been introduced,...well, they’ve never told me!

That’s why it’s prudent to keep an eye on this Avro feedback thread! B)

Into my second year with them. They supply electricity and gas without any hitches, webasite is easy to use to submit readings. But, three observations:
    1. I submit my readings punctually and have never missed one, yet the statements show E C E (estimated, customer, estimated) which makes no sense to me.
    2. When I was getting quotes to switch after the first year of being with them they came in with a quote based on "estimated usage over the next twelve months". This was way lower than the actual usage over the previous twelve months so why did they not use that figure? Consequently I went with them again because the monthly payments were lower than the previous year, despite being on a more expensive tariff! Foolish I know as I am using more than they estimated so it will catch up with me.
    3. They only display online six months usage data (and meter readings) so when it comes to switching I don't know how much I use in a year to get an accurate comparison.

So what's the "Simple and GoSuperSave" and "Simple and GoSuperSwift" on that list?, - launched on the 19th Feb.

I don't get offered them if I ask for a new quote.

It`s a bit of an eye opener when you go to that site and see how many and the amount of new tariffs coming out all the time.
Add to that the amount of money these energy suppliers are paying the switching sites, it`s a total disgrace.
It`s obvious the whole thing is just designed to bamboozle the public.
