When I was at school it seemed all my IT lessons were about Excel so I know how to do all my formatting and that but was just wondering if there is anywhere I can get a template or something as interested in doing this so I can show hubby how much he actually spends on carp!!
What kind of thing do you want to show ? You could have columns for things like bills, essential spends etc and a column for carp.
I love spreadsheets !!! I can't wait to sit down to do next years budget ! If you need any help on this come back to me

Happy Birthday Determined - hope you've had a fab day and a sherbert or two to celebrate
I was meant to be volunteering tonight and was feeling guilty over not wanting to go, but then it got cancelled so all good
ChocolateLover I have 13 columns in mine one for each pay period ( I get paid 13 times a year) with dates of pay periods at top of each. I then list all my income and expenditure streams. I them take payments out when they will not be made in that pay period (as most are monthly). I then put the date of each payment in column A, some are admittedly payday, which is for ongoing payments/debt repayments.
The sum at the bottom is then income - outgoing which gives me a net amount left after all payments and planned debt repayment. I can then add to anything if I need. I also then put at the bottom how much is left in our 2 current accounts (bills and non bills) when I get paid again, so I can see how near we got
It works for us, hope it doesn't sound too complicated.
My list for today:
Update above sheet
Check to see if payment for sale at weekend is pending
Check fleabay to see items I'm selling
bump items on local FB page
check banking, PAD unlikely 2 days to OH payday
meals from stores
keep on top of washing
think long and hard about my job. Came home from work grumpy as hell, and was moody with kids and cat which I hate
I'm just wondering if I can really go and get another job, I've worked here for so long, where would I start?!?
Done some work at home tonight, which no one other than my own sanity will be grateful for
Think that's about all, must go off to bed soon.

Evening all

Thanks for thinking of me BB - it's nice to know I'm missed. I was just desperate to order this stuff for the bestie while it was such good value.
Another busy day - we're down to 3 members of staff in the department now - less than half.
