Still loved, still missed and very dear

Are thinking of you today.0 -
Morning all,
Didn't do a lot yesterday. Read books and newspapers in the sunshine whilst OH fell asleep and Finlay went nuts! Had our first BBQ though!
Going to finally do the car boot today - just about to get up and finished the main packing to leave at 11. Wish me luck!
Have a fun one.0 -
:cheesy: Mornin' all from grey Manchester,
I haven't been to a boot sale for years. You might think it odd but I get upset when I get virtually nothing for things which were once highly desired and then hardly played with. Hope you lot are not such miseries and are looking forward to less clutter and more dosh likenormal people do.
I'll be going to church and then its roast lamb for dinner, followed by blackberry and apple crumble. We arehoping to take the dog to Delamere Forest this afternoon- anyone been there?earn what you can, save what you can, give what you can :hello:0 -
Morning all.
Hugs coming your way if needed!
JULIAPENGUIN ~ glad you enjoyed your meal last night; I live in Warrington and know Stockton heath (a bit) but don’t know of the restaurant you mentioned. Will have to get out more methinks.
FBTHREE~ hope you sold all your goodies at the bootie!
DEBTPHOBICDEIDRE~ we took ILO to Delamere forest after the big storm earlier in the year. The forest was shut due to some of the trees being unsafe. I have been before and it’s a lovely place, especially in the sun! Have fun!
NELSKI~ hope Creamfields wasnt too loud last night! have wracked my brain about what to send in a parcel, all i could think of was a small joke book.
I took ILO to Formby yesterday to see my Mum. Took him to the pinewoods for a run. He was in his apple cart running round like a loon. Got home and saw Mum had texted me to say I had left my purse at hers, so OH drove us back to Formby to pick it up!
We had a chippy tea on the beach and then watched the sunset!
Right better get cracking and attempt to tidy the kitchen before OH rises.
Chow for now

well its a beautiful day here. have three loads of washing done, ready to hang out when I can be bothered to get dressed
yesterday de-cluttered son's room. four bags of rubbish - and I mean rubbish, nothing worth salvaging apart from some reference type books I might see if local school could use. looks so much better, but I know it wont last.
might see about decluttering a few more cupboards before we order a skip. we have a lot of junk/old carpets in the garage which have got very wet so wont be able to take to the tip in the car.x x x0 -
Morning everyone
Well it's a beautiful sunny day here. I'm sat in my dressing gown still (although I have managed to stick a loaf on in the BM).
Need to put some washing on and make a huge fry up for brunch (sausages, bacon, fried eggs, plum tomatoes, potato bread, baked beans and toast - when the BM finishes).
Going to make some cupcakes with DD later, and for tea probably meatballs and spaghetti.
It's DD's 9th birthday on Bonfire night, and we were asking her what she wanted to do for her birthday - we have decided on a hiring the local hall and having a disco, with hotdogs and pizza for food. Need to book the hall and find a decent DJ now.
Anyway I'm rambling, have a great day everyoneSquares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)0 -
Good morning everyone,
Havnt posted for a while, been feeling a bit down and invisable:(
Things arnt getting much better today tho, its a lovely day (been beautiful down here in the South West, been feeling for all those who have been posting about it being grey and overcast) so ive had a lovely plan to take my 2 out to the moors with their bikes, with a little disposable bbq for our picnic lunch. Was just sat here reading OS, when i thought i had wet myself - my monthly had started. Im not due yet, and for those who dont know, i have a blood condition called ITP which means i have a very low platelet count (bad for bruises and any type of bleeding) so now its not the best time to go out somewhere where there are no toilets available. Think its almost finished me off now, just want to cry.
Ive had 2 weeks off, which has been lovely, as i love spending time with my children, but apart from one trip to the cinema, and a trip into town, to buy the rest of the school stuff, and a treat of fish and chips, we have done nothing. I dont have many friends, but even though the couple i have, have known ive been off work, i havnt seen any of them - and the only one i have spoken to, was arranging when i could look after her children while she has to pop into work. Im just feeling really low and used at the moment, i cant tell anyone in 'real life' how i feel, im always the positive one who people come to for help, and ive never been good at asking for help myself, thats why i think im happier spilling all this out to people i dont know. Maybe i should stop being such a doormat, but i enjoy helping people, and i also like being independant, so find it a real struggle when i do need someones help.
My house is also a mess and im not sleeping well, which just means i have no get up and go to sort the house or garden out - someone needs to put a rocket up my bum i think, to help sort me out!!!
Ok, now ive spilled all that out, im going to dust myself off and get on with things - life is too short to be low.
Hope everyone has a lovely day - im going to, not sure how yet, but i will!!!!:T
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -
Good morning everyone
Special hugs to Catowen ((((((hugs)))))) sorry you are feeling so low Cat and you know you can let off steam here any time you like. Hope the sunshine lifts your spirits.
mrs mix glad your DD is feeling so much better.
jockett my DS is 15 in October. He refuses to let me part with his Spidermans, Batmans, X-men, Action Mans, wrestlers, etc, etc, etc. It's driving me mad as he has all the stuff that a teenager *needs* too. The only consolation is that they just *might* be collectors items in about 100 years. :rotfl:
((((hugs)))) to all who need/want one.
Feeling good this morning as I have just gone through all my finances. Things are better than I anticipated so I am able to put more away than I expected for my MOT next month. :j
As part of my storecupboard challenge, for breakfast I will be having the Paul Rankin Irish Sausages that I got heavily reduced and have been lurking in the freezer for quite a while. They smell verrrrry nice. Dinner will be yellow-stickered chicken with couscous - I kept buying cous cous when it was reduced and am now swimming in the stuff.
Hoping to have a no-spend day for the next few days to help the budget further.
Have a sunny Sunday. xx"Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

Morning all.
I'm getting earlier, so I must be sleeping less. That's good, I've been sleeping too much these past few days.
Yesterday I ironed for 2 hours and cleared a load of the backlog. I'm gradually getting on top of everything and doing it as I go along, like the washing. There's a little bit in the basket but I may get that out of the way seeing as it's such a nice day. Then, because I'm on top of everything, I might knit, or sew. I'm conserving energy so won't go for a drive until tomorrow - if it's still nice (kiss of death).
Last night's social outing was a success. Spent less than £6 of my £10 budget. Hopefully manage the same tonight.
Hope everyone has a nice day.spendy/she/her ***DEBT-FREE DATE: 11 NOVEMBER 2022!*** Highest debt: £35k (2006) MY WINS: £3,541 CASH; £149 Specsavers voucher; free eye test; goody bag from Scottish Book Trust; tickets to Grand Designs Live; 2-year access to Feel Amazing App (worth £100); Home Improvement & Renovation Show tickets; £50 to spend on chocolate; Harlem Globetrotters tickets; Jesus Christ Superstar tickets + 2 t-shirts; Guardians of the Galaxy goody bag; Birmingham City v Barnsley FC tickets; Marillion tickets; Dancing on Ice tickets; Barnsley FC v Millwall tickets0 -
