change the bullet point 1) to EA2010 and not the equal rights act

expand on the point #13 as to where they have failed those conditions, dont just quote from the pdf but actually point out the failures

its still POPLA, no matter who runs it, and your appeal can be done online on their site, with the appeal attached as a word doc or pdf, so please dont make invalid assumptions

its getting there but needs tweaking, plus the CRA2015 needs re-adding
  • ......or you could just pay a bit then stop. The amount of hours already spent, and the sheer worry particularly over Christmas is ridiculous. But hey - who am I. Take everyone else's advice!!!

What is the point in coming back again with this ridiculous suggestion (which has already been shot down in flames when you first launched it as your "advice")

Note all the help the OP is getting! (Apart from your 2 contributions)

Included in your appeal is this
"5) signage and Failure to adhere to the BPA code of practice.

The signs do not meet the minimum requirements in part 18. They were not clear and intelligible as required.

Quote the BPA code of practice "

Why include the "stage directions" (in bold above) ? You must learn to proof read your own work and not expect everyone else to do that job for you.
  • Guys dad I am NOT expecting everyone to do everything for me how bloody rude I've asked for help as I've never done this before and members on here are very kindly helping me which I really do appreciate.

Way to go you've really knocked my confidence in writing this appeal! Merry Xmas!
  • And as previously said it is a rough copy I will perfect it when I have the correct basics in some people honestly!
  • Now, the 10 minute grace period applies only to the period after parking. However, it is completely logical that if it takes 10 minutes to leave the car park, it could have equally taken 10 minutes to park the car in the first place. Therefore, in your POPLA appeal you could make this argument if you spent up to 20 minutes over the end of the parking period.

Further, 10 minutes is just an arbitrary figure picked by the British Parking Association. We have heard of cases where it has taken over half an hour to exit a car park due to the surrounding roads being busy. Given that the Code of Practice acknowledges the need for a grace period, it is worth making the argument that it is an arbitrary number, but that in your case it took longer.

Looking at grace periods I am struggling to explain it as the BPA COP doesn't state a specific time.. And if it's 10 minutes I'm still over at 14 minutes? Sorry I'm not asking anyone to write it like guy dad says I'm just looking for guidance. Knew I should have got my oh to write this he's cleverer than me
  • Sorry the first two paragraphs in the above post are a post on parking Cowboys website
