Need some water bill help

Hi i got Water meter i moved into this property 3rd april 2007 then 17th augus 07 they send me the bill as amount showing above .Me and my wife And we got new born boy yesterday (I cant believe it i am DADY now:j ) so 3 people but i called them and they asked me to read every week so they can find out if it the actual usage or something wrong with the bill .Thanks0

Did you take a reading on the day you moved in or did you rely on the previous people to do it ?
It not unknown for them to give a lower reading so they get a smaller bill !0 -
i gave them proper reading when i moved in but they lost it and estimated it thats why they asked me to make trace of reading every week till 3 weeks so the mistake can be fixedDid you take a reading on the day you moved in or did you rely on the previous people to do it ?
