what type of business needs to buy multiple tv's from argos0

I know that it is illegal to refuse to supply a receipt or a VAT receipt on request, why don't Argos just comply with the law and how can I get it enforced against them?
Normally I would suggest doing that via Citizens Advice, but as you are not a consumer perhaps using their consumer helpline is not appropriate.0 -
You seem to be deliberately setting out to find fault with everything that is said to you, even if there is no fault. As cono clearly pointed out to you, they will supply a VAT receipt if you ask for one, but because their primary business is B2C there is no requirement for them to supply a VAT receipt as standard. If you're not happy with the way Argos have handled your request make a complaint.
You haven't read the thread. I have asked 3 times, every time they don't send it. The law states that there is a requirement, and cono was wrong, even his own link said so, as it is regardless if it is b2b or b2c, the law still says in section 13(a) that they must supply one.
I have made a complaint, 2 times, being every other time I had to phone for a receipt.0 -

Errr! Good Sir/Madam/Dog/Cat/Inanimate Object - I posted no link.
There really isn't much we can tell you in a consumer forum related to something that doesn't violate consumer rights since it was a B2B transaction. If you have emailed Argos and given them a reasonable amount of time then make a formal complaint with them and trading standards.0 -
The question was directed at the thread owner, who ignored it - I wasn't asking for possible examples.0

If you want a different answer, be more specific with your question.0 -
It was mostly rhetorical - posted in a thread about claiming vat back as a business expense, as such, the context and reason behind it should be fairly apparent without spelling it out.0
