Oh Megano, I have worked jobs when I have been one of the hard working people and it is so so so frustrating that there are bad apples! I hope they get the chop and you get some good co workers at W3/1 Whatever you decide to call it.
Also know all about the taxi issue, when I used to work in a bar i once had four late finishes in a row and it was so frustrating knowing i was going to be spending £40 of my minimum wages on taxis that week! My partner wouldn't let me cycle home so that wasn't an option and was too far to walk. When transport is something you have to factor in with your wages it really affects whether the job is worth it, so i do hope your bike gets the love it needs to be road ready and you can save some dosh
Remember what we have all said, if the three jobs get to be too much and you fall sleep standing up then you know it will be time to quit. Take care in the meantime xDebt Free Stage 1 - Completed 27/08/2020

Without taking pleasure in someone's pain (who? Me? Never!) IF someone does get the chop then I'll be offered there spot at the table rather than just being the cleaners booty call. Only calling when they need someone. I ain't no ones hotline bling :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Virgin Money £0/£1445

This morning at 4.30 I have to be honest I woke up blurry eyed and none bushy tailed and was tempted to text the cleaning job with some lame excuse (I know, I know) something like my grandmas hamster had to go to the vet or I was stuck in the twilight zone, or I was watching for lighting to hit the clock tower to bring me back to modern day but I sucked it up and went in.
Thank god I did!
Y was a no show (again from what I've heard 'apparently he's like Hayley's comet only to be seen rarely') and so was another girl (her little one was ill) so it was all hands on deck to get everything done.
As far as I'm aware tomorrow is my last day. I'm a touch concerned as the area manager hasn't been in to get my bank details I hope she doesn't think I'm doing this out the goodness of my heart.Virgin Money £0/£1445

Seems all I do recently is post about the W3 scandal. So because Y has been MIA and using the work the same I use to use the gym (by never showing up) The manager brought in her daughter to help us catch up with all the little odd jobs that haven't been able to be done. Halfway through the shift Y calls and says 'I'm not coming back' and gives her daughter his job.
So the area manager texts me and says 'welcome to the team' and I'm like eh? She replays 'you have Y job' and I'm like no I don't this girl does and the area manager went mad because apparently a girl is wanting to take 2 months off because her husband is going away and SHE is meant to cover her. So basically I'm meant to be the managers booty call of the cleaning world while someone who only started on yesterday has been given a permenant job!
So right now I'm in limbo I might have a 3rd job I might not.
In other news it was OH BFF big 30 birthday celebration last night. It was amazing and awful and awfully amazing. The bank card took a serious pounding though £150 between us but in our defence that was a two course meal and drinks, drinks and shots in the pub, nightclub entrance, drinks and shots and a taxi home.

The saga continues with W3.
Finally received a text message from the cleaning area manager
- Hi Megano! The girl your covering still isn't back so go in as normal until I tell you otherwise
*Cool so that means <insert managers daughter name here> got Y's job?
- I'm not sure. I'll sort it out on Tuesday.
Now I don't want to upset the apple cart here but how can you not know what's going on if your THE AREA MANAGER.
Part of me is thinking to tell them to f^*k it and then the other part is like don't cut your nose to spite your face.Virgin Money £0/£1445

Its finally over! The saga is finished! We can all move on with our lives!
It turns out the girl I was covering is back tomorrow and Y's job was given to the supervisor's daughter (surprise surprise) however all is not lost because the area manager has worked her magic and there is a permanent job starting on the 15th of July. It's just a shame that the following day I'm taking a week off to go back home to see Mum.
It was crazy the area manager came in today and asked me to fill in millions of forms including what special skills do I have to do the job (a degree in mopping? a degree in dusting? a bsc in bin management) what did i get in my exams (i don't think my higher biology is going to help you here love) and then I needed to fill in forms saying I had been shown how to dust effectively. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
It seems like a good team and its a fairly easy job (except today i managed to get a blister from hoovering!) so Im looking forward to getting kick started again.
in the meantime i know next month I'm going to have an extra £70 odd to throw at the debts.
In other news.
IT'S PAYDAY!
BOM has received her first payment and now its just a case of having to wait all the dd's to be taken out and making extra payments. its crazy how 1 payment can increase percentage of debuts paid so much!Virgin Money £0/£1445

Nothing really new to report. W1 is seriously annoying me as we are really understaffed and when customers are asking to speak to managers we have to say it will be a 48 hour call back. Amazingly no one has went 'oh yeah that's okay' it's just been complaint complaint complaint and it's getting a little draining!
In other news a sneaky little payment of £87 odd between the overdraft, tab cc and mbna.
Still got the DD to be taken for HMRC and the cap 1 credit card so I should be over 20% debit paid in a couple of days! Plus I have about £77 to come from W3!Virgin Money £0/£1445

I forgot to tell you guys! Yesterday when I phoned TSB to reduce the overdraft I got through to a women I spoke to before and she was like 'I have to say you should be really proud of yourself. You reduced your overdraft from £2400 to £200 in the space of 6 months'
Anyway with it being the 1st of the month HMRC have taken there direct debit so that's another £50 downVirgin Money £0/£1445
