What a disaster! Well, if the old saying is true, that a bad dress rehearsal means a brilliant first night, then we are in for an Oscar-winning panto tomorrow!
So, what to do......firstly, .send out a search party to find Mrs Doyle's dentures, nicked by little Peregrine from St Mildred' s....hang on, Igor says he's just seen them listed on eehbahgum-bay.....better put in a bid for them, else Mrs Doyle will be flashing her gums at Captain Hook tomorrow!
Rescue Captain Hook (Chef) from the Ennessdee Towers fish pond (the little darlings from St Mildred' s decided he should really walk the plank. If we don't get him out there will be nobody available to make supper.
Unwrap the six miles of duct tape from Fabio. It seems the children thought we should be doing Curse of the Mummy, not Peter Pan. Yes, knitwitch, your tape measure will be required again.....(wouldn't surprise me if she put them up to it)
Scrub the stuff out of Hubert's wig....in fact, dunk him in a hot soapy bath and have done with it. You too, Igor, hopefully the hair remover cream they slathered over your chest will wash off. No, you can't bring Rubber Ducky. Why not? Because the kids have got him and I am not paying the ransom money.
Then.....Tinkerbell. How they managed to hang her upside down by her ankles is a mystery. And how she came to be wearing Igor's undermentionables beneath her costume is another mystery.
I think double helpings of Valium in the cocoa tonight would be a good idea. One life - your life - live it!0 -
Fraid so.
Happy Monday all!
Right,update today.Or I'll eat my hat.0 -
I think that we might have to call in the services of our dear Inspector Swindle of The Yard.....
Somebody swapped my frilly, silky, delicate ladies' underthings for Igor's abominations, hence my hideous ordeal.... someone is going to pay dearly for this.Oh yes.

Nothing to do with me! The first I knew about it was when Tiddles came back in also semi wrapped in Duct Tape (and I took my life in my hands removing THAT I might add), I was busy doing running repairs to various costumes (by the way Scotsmum are you really SURE that native Americans wear that particular tartan?)Must use my stash up!0 -
Cor, this month is tough going on the NSD front, but I'm up to NSD 6 now0

I have read that Aldi do nappies just as good as the expensive brands.

2025 Frugal challenge0 -
Yesterday went up to sisters for 24 hours and helped her out. She had just had her first sleepless night. Took baby off her which allowed her to get some sleep. He is gorgeous. I had lots of cuddles and kisses. Aunty Gem-gem was in her element.
Our brother bought baby some more bibs so I bought some baby milk powder, some ready made emergency formula and food us to eat, which I then cooked. I also popped some extra bits of food for them to have this week. So yesterday was a spendy day.
Today was no spend day

Right, well, curtain up and all is well so far....the prompter has only had to prompt three times during the opening sequence (although can't think why as there are no lines in that bit) and the audience seemed to like the bit with Peter and Wendy flying......just a shame Tinkerbelle' s wand has got the droops......And Jackson Hedley is doing a sterling job playing all the Lost Boys...now for the pirate scene........Quick with the scene change, guys, hoist the Jolly Roger, and....enter Captain Hook!
Igor! You are supposed to be on stage as Mr Smee! Get that Red Indian princess kit off quickly! One life - your life - live it!0 -
