No, Igor, I do not want a bit of Brussels sprout pate. Or a flambeed sprout truffle. It is your own fault you bought too much, not realising the NSD gang go home for the holidays, now you have to be very creative and NSD in ways of using up all those sprouts.

Now I happen to know the gang are very fond of your signature dish, the Brussels sprout curry. As you will no doubt start planning our New Year party soon, once the Christmas business is over, how about you borrow Knitwitch's spare cauldron and start marinating the sprouts in spices ready to finish the curry off on the morning of New Year's eve?

I think, if you start marinating them tomorrow, the 27th....that gives them a good five days festering away ......the resulting curry will, dare I say it, be absolute dynamite?

Anyway, think on that....I have a groaning fridge at Chateau Nargle that requires my attention...

Had a friend of hubby's come for lunch. They then went to football whilst I chilled out at home. Late this afternoon and old friend of mine dropped round for an hour.
