Now, Igor, I know you are all brilliant actors and will not need a prompt on the night, but it is customary to have one anyway. You need to construct a cubbyhole at the side of the stage that lynnejk can sit in with her script. She will also need a headtorch to follow the script in the dark, a comfy chair, a supply of tea and choccy biccies to pass the time during the musical numbers, and a bucket

Whaddya mean, why does she need a bucket? Have you tried sitting in a cubbyhole drinking copious amounts of tea, with no toilet breaks?

Thought it was quiet around here......just discovered marmite hanging from the ceiling above the stage! It seems she decided to have a practice with the harness this morning, to get used to flying across the stage in her Tinkerbelle costume. Trouble is, being quite old and rusty (the harness mechanism, not marmite) everything ground to a halt and she was stuck there.

She is still stuck there. Chef keeps trying to shoot her down with his bazookie. There are now several holes in the roof, it is raining and marmite is getting wet. Mrs Doyle is trying to build a mountain of eggs sarnies tall enough for someone to climb up and rescue her - but somebody keeps eating them.

And Hubert is totally useless. He just gazes lovingly up at those gorgeous pink silk bloomers she is wearing, and planning how to nick them from her when she puts them in the wash.

There's nothing we can do....Igor, you are going to have to climb up there and rescue her!

    Hi,
Sorry I have been MIA but I have been hunting out the sun. I found it in Gran Canaria. Hubby and I have been on a cheap holiday for 6 nights. Very pleased as it averaged out at less than £50 each per day. That was for flights, hotels, rail in UK to airport, buses around the island, all food and drink. I bought an eye liner in duty free and nothing else!!! I left my credit card in the hotel safe on all but one day. So the eyeliner was my only unplanned spend. Spent much of the time recuperating, both hubby and I was unwell the week before we left the country.
So I am going to declare...
3rd December - spendy day - eye liner
    4th Dec - NSD no 2
    5th Dec - NSD no 3
    6th Dec - NSD no 4
    7th Dec - NSD no 5

8th Dec - spendy day - towards house renovations.

Going back now to catch up on the posts

  • NSD no 5 for me, and 2nd one in a row (aiming for 5)... very very hard to resist, I can't believe it's so hard! I constantly have to remember, even 1p counts! Luckily I told a friend from work and she's checking on me all the time. I'm not allowed to buy coffee and lunches this week. She even brought me a croissant to alleviate my pain :)
