Claiming another NSD for today, even though OH wants fish and chips from the chippy tonight. I can ignore that expenditure if I deduct it from the food budget.

Safely declaring 8/15 today and... 5/5-in-a-row achieved! Home for the rest of the day, only have to pick up my daughter and her friend from afterschool today and we're going to be making lasagne tonight (already made the ragu, it's de-freezing now). I wish I had some company after they go to sleep, with a glass of red. Tough being single! :blushing:

Remember, Hubert, these are little kiddies so we must not frighten them. Some of those attending St Mildred's Academy for Clever Kiddiwinks are gifted and very highly strung, and a huge hairy donkey in stilettos is not normal for them. So, your best friendly Dame persona, please!

Line up on the stage, children, and Dame Hubert will teach you the song.

.....Mrs Doyle, please tell little Rupert at the back there that the words are "...on my thumb" and not what he sang........And if little Araminta thinks she is going to play knick knack on Hubert's best six inch stilettos then she will be in for a nasty shock - Hubert is very protective of his shoes.....come on, Igor, enter into the spirit of the singalong, hold little Bertie' s hand....what?
