So, this year's panto is Peter Pan, is it? Some good parts up for grabs.
Peter Pan
Wendy
Nana the dog
John and Michael, Wendy's brothers
Various Lost Boys
Mr and Mrs Darling
Captain Hook
Mr Smee
Various pirates
Tinkerbelle
Red Indians
And, of course, the ticking crocodile.
Can't remember what character is the Dame, perhaps the pirate ship cook?
Let's not forget the Ennessdee Towers Advent Calendar, which marmite will open each morning to reveal some Christmas-related prize!
You what...advent calendar?
I will see what I can do.
I believe Cheffie could masterfully play Captain Hook, the role of Tinkerbelle seems to be taken (stop gibbering Hubert...),Igor is equally keen to don tights and be our Peter Pan..or is that going against convention ie is Peter Pan played by a girl?
Sorry, you've got a panto novice here.
Answers on a postcard please.Hi. Going to go for a challenging 15 NSD and 5 in a row.
Couple of meals planned with a couple of friends. (But not going to the work party as it will cost £50 for food and entertainment plus money for drinks - will be able to run all my meals out with friends for less than that). Do I sound like a bah humbug?
No,you do not sound bah humbug!
People are even more pressurized to part with their money at Christmas...so,you stick to your guns.:money:

I hope you enjoy yourself.
Don't forget, the only rule is:you make up the rules.
What works for you maybe doesn't work for the next person, but that's what makes this challenge so special....tailor-made money saving if you like! :money:
So,time for some tea?Mrs Doyle has just put the kettle on....0 -
And the gang start clocking in......with such fabulous prizes, who can resist?
Panto parts.....
Captain Hook will be played by Swedish Chef.
His gormless sidekick, Mr Smee, will be played by Igor. Appropriate, hey?
Nana the dog will be played by Hubert. Stop moaning, Hubert, it's the only character that has four legs. Ok, you can wear a frilly pink ribbon round your neck. But no spanx pants, and definitely no stilettos - when did you ever see a dog wearing stilettos, for goodness sake!
And Tinkerbelle - marmite, who did you give the part of Tinkerbelle to? Not Mrs Doyle I hope, the makeup budget won't go far enough to make her like a young and beautiful fairy. One life - your life - live it!0 -
Well,I suppose I could play Tinkerbelle, what with me being young and gorgeous?
I take it you're directing?0 -
Igor is happy to play a gormless sidekick, but only if you return his chest wig collection and let him perform in his favourite sock suspenders.
Hubert is pouting ... can he at least wear some nice lippy, dangly earrings and new beehive wig?0 -
Count me in for 15 please!0

I've boldly decided to add an alternate prize to the 'in a row' section.I thought it might act as the proverbial carrot. :cool:0

marmite, you will make an excellent Tinkerbelle, the dress is rather short but you get to wear some lovely sparkly tights.
Igor can certainly wear his sock suspenders, but no chance with the chest wigs as his entire collection was destroyed. Apart from one scratty specimen which Tiddles hijacked for his bedding.
Hubert cannot wear stilettos or makeup if he is playing the dog. However, if he would like to play the Dame' s part, (in this panto, the pirates' cook) then he would get to wear the most grotesque and exaggerated costumes, wigs and makeup. Would he like to be the Dame? One life - your life - live it!0
