    Hi
Don't let a few tears at drop off time put you off.
Both of mine would regularly turn the waterworks on when I left them but when I peeked through a window 2 minutes later they were playing happily. They also didn't want to come home at the end of the day !
Small children can be proper little con artists !

My granddaughter tried that one with DD1 last week.. clinging and screeching.. my daughter gave her to a staff member and walked out and closed the door, as she looked over her should DGD was sat already happily on the floor flicking a toys about and squealing happily, about 15 seconds later!!.. she is 14 months and a little madam!

I said it is karma, DD1 used to do it too. She gets very littlw sympathy! haha

I haven't read ask the replies but I'd say your boy sounds totally normal to me Loulou10.

He will be fine at nursery and will come on in leaps and bounds. He may be upset at being left initially, both my kids have gone through stages of not wanting to be left and then when I look through the window when leaving they are fine again!
