#3 Now up to £314 and still waiting on those T. Vouchers........
Happy weekend everyone :cool:0 -
I've just picked my tin up. And it's fairly heavy
I'm pleased because ds has an expensive present in mind for Christmas this year. He wants an X-box. Hope he knows it'll be a second hand one.

My £31 in for MaySave £12k in 2022 thread #7:
Save £10,000 Jan-May 2022 THEN RETIRE!!
Final total for (half) year: -£4,0000 -
Vouchers have arrived- £4. it's good to get them but also disappointing since they reduced the reward for using their mastercard - may look for a better option. I spend over £1000 a month on that card, I think I can do better with a cashback version.
#3 £318/£7320 -
Just checking in - £175 in my Christmas pot :j
I started another pot at the same time for my children's birthdays - this will be cracked open at the end of the month. I am so pleased with this as it's taken a massive pressure off.
Thank you so much for this challenge, it's been a life saver :j:jMFW!
Started 1/12/22 - £196,000
Saving targets 2023
Mortgage Overpayment £0/£2000
Bathroom £0/£2000
Big Birthday Trip £0/£2000
Long Term Saving Pot £0/£20000 -
£22 added to the pot since I last updated here. Have fallen a little bit behind but I know there has been the odd pound or two added by other members of the family from time to time so I am sure by the end of the year we will actually be over the target when it comes to counting. #69The person who moves a mountain begins by carrying small stones.

It's a great way to save and as you say takes the pressure off. I look forward to Christmas and opening my tin(s) and don't feel at all stressed about how I'm going to pay for everything;)
