  • Thanks for the new challenge and thread ellieseleven :T

I'd love to give this a go again for next year at £1 a day

I've been doing the 2015 challenge and have a lovely online stash now.

I'll be doing it online again transferring the money across to a separate account, I love seeing it all build up :)
  • Hi Ellie

Could you put my name down for this? I do a savings tin every year but don't open it until a week before Christmas as it was for our Christmas drinks and some extra cash over the holidays. But would like to do a tin and save online with enough cash for Christmas presents and also the drinks with a bit left over.

My husband's job is seasonal so the winter months we will be short of cash but hope to make it all up during the peak seasons.

So would like to do approx £1.50 per day and my target at the end of 30th November would be £550.
    Barclaycard: £4,217.55/£5 = 0.11% | Tesco £3,810.55/£3,770.55 = 1.05%
    Total: £8,027.80/£5 = 100%/0.06%
    Mortgage £99,692/£51,652.33 51.8%
    Car Loan: £9,217.20/7,527.38 81.67%

Please count me in. Even though I failed this year my pot came in really handy for car repairs. Determined to succeed next year. Do we start 1st Dec?

Yes, we will be starting on 1st December, that way we can open our tins/savings on 30th November ready for Christmas.

Can I join too please ?
Although I do the sealed pot challenge (and will continue to do so), I like the idea of saving specifically for Yule.
    I'd like to save £1 a day, so that's £365 for me
