Hi,
Just had to post this as I am astounded by Lloyds tsb! My credit card bills arrived in the post today which is normal, but along with it I recieved 3 other people's statements!! It's lucky I am not some credit card thief who would steal these people's money! Do they want to make it easy for people to de-fraud money or what! Am off to ring said bank to tell them of their blunder!

Im sure it must be perfect as you never to make a mistake
However for the mere mortal it does happen, make them aware of it and get off your high horse

This happened to me once, but with a catalogue bill, obviously the machine that stuffs the envelopes (I assume with such high volumes of letters its a machine!) and there was mine along with 2 others..........I just rang the company, and they told me to send them back! no "thanks for being honest"!I believe that I have the strength to make my dreams come true:T September Challenge £5 per day - £0/£150 :T0

Would you be so critical if it were your statements delivered to someone else? I'm sure you'd be riding high on a Clydesdale!0 -

Yes I do know mistakes happen and obviously this is one of them, I don't think there was any need for you to be rude about it!

Banks/Financial companies should not be making mistakes like that. If anyone has ever had a statement lost in the post you'll know where it has gone!"Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; but remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for."

Yikes, some harsh responses on here. Mistakes do happen but that doesn't mean that they're OK. If it were me whose statements were sent to the wrong person I'd be pretty annoyed that a mistake like that was allowed to happen.
What did the bank say when you called them, daisydoll?0 -
I agree with OP, my South African credit card statement went to someone in Scotland and she was lovely, wrote to me a lovely letter and sent the statement to me, giving me a glimpse of her life and being very sweet.
Nevertheless, I have about £10000 on that credit card (get interest on it), and to anyone else it would have been pretty tempting to spend on it.
I think you are right to be concerned about this, it's a question of how lucky are you to have it sent to an honest person.

Totally agree Jennifer. I haven't been getting my bank statements in a while! Anyway, when people on here say they've been a victim of identity thief, and they say they've never used their credit card, we can put it down to the bank's mistake!"Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; but remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for."
