Mine on my sale is "what do you use the loft for?" (Bog standard loft with spiders, purchaser viewed on visit, not a conversion or anything at all fancy)

I had a viewer ask me if I would ask my neighbour whether they would mind removing the fence between the properties so that they could drive over the neighbour's land in order to access the 3 car garage they planned to build in the back garden - I did ask but not surprisingly they said no!
  • My parents were asked whether their house was haunted - that was really odd and so was the lady lol.

"Please provide evidence that there is no conservatory."

That was a bit mind boggling.
    My credit card: £148.07/£694.91 (21%)
    Partner's credit card: £0/£602.03

    Loan from partner's mum: £800/£2,400 (33%)
    Loan from partner's dad: £10,000/£10,000 (100%)

    Personal loan: £3,000/£3,000 (100%)
  • "Are you going to take the fireplaces with you?"

Apparently they had previously offered on another place, and when they went for a just-before-exchange viewing the vendors were busy removing the fireplaces.

LOL! I love the idea of providing evidence that something *doesn't* exist.

I was asked why my kitchen had no drawers, and what I put in my dustbin.
' <-- See that? It's called an apostrophe. It does not mean "hey, look out, here comes an S".
  • "How is the balcony accessed and maintained?".

We had no balcony at the time. :rotfl:
  • I went to view a potential 'buy to let' property last week and when I asked why there was a baseball bat by the front door the Agent said it was because the previous tenant had difficulty walking!!
  • I have asked agents Random questions, like "and what day is bin day on this street" and "Did the vendor not want to sell it, or did they think a house smelling of !!!! was something desirable?" and "Is your smart car small enough to fit in this garage ? No? Then I think USEFUL storage space might be a more apt thing to say. Which bit of Must have a decent size garage did you not understand?"

and when selling a house "Go and MEASURE the garage and make sure you put that in the details"
