Whats the weirdest enquiry you've had or even asked yourself?

  • Experience can influence the questions you ask. I ask to see under sinks, open windows, repeatly ask about planing, look at the neighbours and insulation.

    Some people have most likely just downloaded a list of questions. But my concern is proximity to hospital... Noisy places, remand and half way houses, schools as the traffic can be bad. Where wil a guest park and proximity to corner shop are considerations to me that others may view as irrelevant.

    Re murder it can seriously impact value as people may not buy due to spirits or bad vibes. But depending on how notorious you do not want to be on a tourist list. It will affect resale. I would google the address just in case.

    We viewed a house recently that seemed far too cheap for what it was. We decided not to buy because of its close proximity to the A3.

    But a quick Google showed the other possible reason it wasn't selling - the owners had brought up their son in that house who'd since moved to Hong Kong and murdered a couple of prostitutes.
