So despite saying that the camera was enough money spent and I was going to wait to get new lenses, I think that £850 is going to go on a second hand 100-400mm L or 300mm L lens. And then I'd really better get out there and try to shoot some pictures I can sell!

Seems justified, hope you'll get the lens(es) whilst there is such good quality of light on the bright clear days we have this time of year; fabulous with the snow and clear blue skies for us today to compensate for travel chaos yesterday!

  • Hooray - little mini dance of happiness, the first £1,000 has been paid off :j It's only taken 7 months...I think we'd better speed up a bit! I had a letter from the mortgage company yesterday saying that we now only need to pay them £314 a month, but we're keeping the payment at £737, so that's £423 off it a month before the offset amount is taken into consideration. So effectively we're going to be overpaying by £6k a year without doing anything at all.

Oh dear - Gordon Brown is going to be sad that none of us are spending the extra money! Do you think recapitalising the banks with our ops counts? signs_143.gif

We had absolutely no snow until this morning - it's snowing hard now and although OH managed to get to work, we're not sure he's going to be able to get back! The power was off for a bit as well, so I'm WAY behind on today's work now.
