  • I cant seem to order one either, the site is very slow. And keeps saying 'unfortunately we seem to have a problem, please contact our sales team on...' Have tried with different cards and addresses, dunno why it isnt going through. :(

I've tried and tried but I can't get the offer of £26.99 to come up in conjunction with the £4 back from 'linemypocket'. It keeps coming up as £29.99 with £15 of credit for the Nokia 1100.

The £26.99 offer is only available through the virgin lifestylerewards program. If you want to get the cashback from linemypocket then first you have to click through the linemypocket link to the virginmobile website. Then make sure that you type the address "http://www.virginmobile.com/lifestylerwards" into your browsers address bar and you should get to the correct page that shows the Nokia 1100 for £26.99, with £25 airtime. I've just ordered and it works fine.

  • I think it wont let me order because I ordered 2 mobiles earlier from virgin in the year, is there a limit or something?

Just want to let you know that although this Virgin's offer was 'available until 30th September 2005' it is still available.

Well, as it was discussed before, it is available sometimes and somewhere, not always and everywhere. It does not work on my computer (I get £29.99 with £15 airtime), but my colleague next desk got £26.99 with £25 airtime.

BTW Siemence A65 was out of stock and is back now too.

Oh No!! Good for you, but not so good for me!

Well, in that case, rather than PMing me for further details (and filling up my precious Inbox) please just remember to claim your free handsfree set from them if it fails to arrive with your order. Please double-check that their general t&cs still state that you can still get them before doing so though, but they did state this before and Virgin did cave under pressure!

Please vote on the poll at the beginning of my thread if you have bought a phone through this offer. Stands at 5 at the moment - come on - don't be shy!!

I didn't buy one, but why do you ask?

And your previous post - why was the offer being still available or not good or bad for you?

Just out of a spirit of fun and 'forum community' where it has been so long running - just to gauge response. First time I had seen the Poll feature on the site and thought I'd give it a go.

Good for those still able to buy. Bad because it generated so many PMs which needed a response, and because I have exceeded my limit so they won't let me buy anymore. Simply that - no ulterior motives. Response was meant for Grumbler really.

Look - I really didn't mean to upset you! - So suspicious!

just got two. people are always after nokias, even the basic ones hold their value. will probably give one to a friend and use the other for the car. thanks OP. had noticed this offer and didn't bother going ahead with it but i suppose it's worth a go for a spare phone.
