I won a 7 night cruise in the Med, it was from a local radio station(Clyde 1 in Glasgow) and it was the star prize from the week of calling in to take part in comp, I didn't win anything all week but got the phone call for that..had to answer a couple of questions..but was awesome, also got spending money credited to our on board account for trips or drinks etc

Also won a 2 night stay at any Mercure Hotel for 2 with dinner on first night, managed to get upgraded to take 2 kids, they didn't charge anything for them, and they treated them as kids even though they were outwith the ages for 'kids eat free' offers.

I really focus on entering holiday competitions. I've won over 30 holidays abroad or parts of holiday since 2008 when I won my first holiday to Panama on a radio competition and then I was hooked.

Been to Panama, Rio, China x2, Hong Kong, Orlando, Bahamas x 3 (including my wedding in the Bahamas) Finland, Valencia x 2, Paris, Venice x 2, Tuscany, Berlin x 2, Egypt, Morocco and others.

Then I have trips to Lille, Iceland and Paris coming up later in the year that I won.

Crikey there are some big holiday winners on here! I actually wonder how much effort everybody puts in on the comping?
I'm very much a part timer on comping, I only enter free to enter comps online during the evenings when I have time and avoid facebook and never buy goods from supermarkets etc. to enter.


But even with this fairly minimal effort managed to win a 10 day Australia holiday this year (which we extended to 15 days) and just been told I won a week's boating holiday up to the value of £2500 with Tesco.
I did win a Disneyland Paris holiday many years ago which was amazing with first class travel and all the competition winners had private access to one of the parks for 3 hours in the evening with food and drink which was amazing!
