All of the networks- schemes to extract the money under all or any pretensions aka "businesses"
It is duty of everyone to deal with them accordingly-
Change over at once, and mind price, service from personal accord, just NEVER, under no circumstance be fooled about loyalty or fairness EVER at all.
All as one- they sell air and contracts to sell air...

I've not yet had notification that my contract is changing. When I do I will definitely move, possibly to Giffgaff.

I don't really need 4GB, but that's not the point. I can't believe that they've limited texts to 100 on some contracts, when it's pretty much the norm these days to offer unlimited texts.

  • The changes on The People's Operator PAYG are minimal - although it IS an irritation that I must now upgrade MIL's Doro phone to a 3G-compatible Doro.
Still, on the positive side at least that is a (difficult to buy for) present sorted! ;)

    eg: £10 Hero bundle = 1000 texts, 600 minutes & 1GB data.

Like others, if (or when) it no longer suits I will change BUT:
    * - coverage where we are & near family etc. is good. (Will be on 3 too.)
    * - customer service have been A-1 on both occasions family needed them. By phone. Competent, efficient AND UK-based.
    * - Website is functional if none-too-pretty. Top-ups & bundles easy to apply.

We have been twice now "upset" by Vodafone-based MVNO's closing and - before that - suffered under two different O2-based MVNO's frequent disruption to service locally.
EE have now been bought by BT who - IMHO - I would not trust to run a market stall, never mind a multinational telecommunications services company.

So there's no surprise to me that TPO have gone with Three.
They suit our needs (as a family) - now I personally just hope that this provider will stay around longer than some of the others I have tried! :D

The PAYG does look an awful lot better than pay monthly, which I don't understand. I also don't see the point on being on pay monthly with them any more.

I'm inclined to go elsewhere regardless.
